| Location: | Bloomfield, NJ | | | Position: | CHEMIST - (3) Open Positions | | | Description: | We are seeking individuals to provide technical support on designed experiments and studies to enhance existing technologies and develop new products; must be organized, thorough, creative, curious and possess the ability to make detailed observations and recommendations from interpretation of lab data results; must have computer skills, possess good math aptitude and demonstrate a strong desire to work long term in a technical environment. In addition, the individual will also be expected to have customer interaction after gaining the necessary experience. The position offers an opportunity to learn surface science/interfacial science and associated technologies in the areas of defoaming/wetting/dispersion, and mechanism and mode of action of additives in these areas.
We require the following qualifications:
R&D Chemist – BS in Chemistry required, MS in Chemistry preferred, with 2 to 4 years experience in technical capacity in chemical industry.
Coatings Chemist - Technical service/applications in coatings/inks. BS in Chemistry required, MS in Chemistry preferred, with 2 to 4 years experience in technical capacity in chemical industry.
IFL Formulator - BS in Chemistry required, MS in Chemistry preferred, with 5 years of technical experience in chemical industry. Must possess strong formulation skills and knowledge of surfactant chemistry. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and willing to travel.
