Project Manager Research & Development (m/f/d)

In our highly modern laboratory within the technology and administration center in Abstatt you will make a significant contribution to the success and customer-specific further development of our products.

Range of tasks:

• Synthesis of compounds and formulation of additives for the application fields paint and coatings chemistry, oilfield, paper industry
• Participation in development projects in an effective and consistent manner
• Accompaniment of product transfers into production
• Technical guidance of our laboratory staff
• Documentation and presentation of development results
• Close cooperation with other departments and, if necessary, customer contacts

Your profile:

• Completed scientific university studies in the field of chemistry, eventually with subsequent PhD
• 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience; we are also happy to give a chance to ambitious career starters
• Extensive knowledge of organic chemistry and polymer chemistry
• Hands-on mentality
• Confident handling of synthetic and analytical working methods
• Willingness to travel, e.g. for customer visits together with the sales department or the participation in technical events
• Good knowledge of German and English, spoken and written
• Enjoy scientific work in a creative team
