The OMBRESEAL® product portfolio includes ready-to-use, aqueous barrier coatings for creating barrier layers against water, oils, and fats on water-based coatable substrates such as paper and cardboard. These coating agents are characterized by high-quality binders and/or special wax components to create the desired effects in the product. The OMBRESEAL® portfolio ranges from binder-based heat sealants to barrier coatings made entirely from renewable raw materials. The use of OMBRESEAL® ready-to-use coatings can significantly improve the oil/grease, water, and water vapor resistance of substrates. They are suitable for use in various industrial applications by paper converters. All OMBRESEAL® coating products comply with a wide range of globally applicable food contact requirements.
