MÜNZING Malaysia SDN BHD, previously known as Hexion Additives Technology Group, is the latest manufacturing site of MÜNZING in Asia. MÜNZING Malaysia has a complete range of innovative additives for the wood processing industry, including catalysts, release agents, dyes, pigments and other specialties chemicals. Malaysia is strategically located in the heart of Asia with many free trade agreements with the neighboring countries that allows us to fast track our business development in the region. As Asia is the fastest growing region a production expansion has been kicked off and is expected to complete by Q1 2022 in order to meet the rising market demand. Our new, state-of-the-art factory will be ready to serve our Asia customers by producing various additives including defoamers, dispersing agents, rheology modifiers and others. The new added capacity will be in addition to our production plants in Europe and North America.
