New ISO certification for energy management systems at German sites
DIN EN ISO 50001:2018 - energy efficiency with a system
We are pleased to announce that all German MÜNZING locations have been successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. This internationally recognized standard for energy management systems is not just another milestone for us - it is a clear commitment to our responsibility towards the environment, society and future generations.
Certification according to the ISO standard is proof of our systematic, sustainable energy management and our central goal of continuously reducing energy consumption and thus effectively reducing environmental pollution - especially CO₂ emissions.
As a chemical company with energy-intensive processes, we consistently analyze our energy flows and identify potential savings. We are increasingly focusing on new, more energy-efficient technologies and equipment, as well as energy from renewable sources, in order to replace fossil fuels and minimize our carbon footprint.
Sustainability and energy saving go hand in hand for us. With certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001, we have created the basis for not only strategically managing our measures, but also making them measurable - and continuously improving.
