Product Details

EDAPLAN 480 is a solvent free wetting agent and dispersant for organic and inorganic pigments and extenders in aqueous media. It can be used for the production of coating systems based on polymer emulsions and water-soluble resins (air and oven drying, 2K systems) as well as for the production of aqueous and glycol-containing, binder-free pigment concentrates. EDAPLAN 480 stabilizes dispersed pigments and extenders and reduces the mill-base viscosity. Gloss, colour strength and hiding power are improved and reflocculation is prevented. Base paints made with EDAPLAN 480 show very good compatibility on tinting with pigment concentrates.
